I have over 20 years experience as a property professional covering Lettings, HMO’s, Serviced Accommodation and Property Development. I have previously trained as a domestic energy assessor, have been an individual member of ARLA, ANIP and also held an SIA membership having worked in the UK and abroad.

I have a knack for spotting an opportunity and creating a way to deliver a product or service. Below market value properties and site finding is a specialty along with continual improvement and investment with an almost category management like approach.

My fundamental responsibility is to ensure our team deliver what we say when we say in the most productive and efficient way possible.

The most enjoyable part of my work is meeting new clients, putting a plan together and then going over and above delivering that plan.

My favourite travel destination in the UK is Exmouth in Devon. We are lucky enough to manage two properties there and the location is lovely. My favourite attraction in Herefordshire is The Orange Tree Pub, not just the great Ales but also the free dog treats which our pooch loves! It is also the place where I first met my wife over 20 years ago!

Fun Fact:  Not many people know this but I was actually born in Kenya and didn’t move to the UK until I was 5 years old, oh and I support QPR.

I oversee anything financial within the company along with Jane our VA in the Philippines. Between us we account for all booking income and pay this onto our clients along with paying all our housekeeping and maintenance teams.

Before creating RentMyHouse we previously had our own high street letting agency that I used to run with my Husband Mike.

Within this company I also would oversee all the financial side of things, I naturally love anything to do with figures so I love my role within the company.

Outside of work I love gardening, walking our pooch, eating out and socialising with family and friends.

I also have a passion for travel, I ticked Dubai off my bucket list recently, next on my wishlist is Thailand so I’m hoping to plan this trip very soon.

Fun fact – I have zoomies most days at 2.30pm!

I have worked in residential lettings for the past 18 years, I started as an office junior and worked my way up to senior management. During this time I received the Technical Award in Residential Lettings & Management. I have experience with property and one of my main skills is working in and managing teams.

I ensure all of our properties are presented to the highest standard prior to the arrival of our guests by liaising with our housekeeping teams, instructing maintenance contractors and regularly visiting the properties to carry out audits. Supporting Owen with guest communications I also understand the guest journey and what they expect. Speaking to clients and taking on new properties is also my responsibility.

I enjoy working for the family business, my favourite part of my job is seeing the end result of the work we put in, setting up a new property and launching it, reading a 5* review or helping a guest make their stay as enjoyable/memorable as possible.

Outside of work I am a busy mum of three, I enjoy socialising with friends & family, eating out, live music, concerts and quiz’s. I also enjoy feeding & watching the birds in my garden.

My favourite travel destination is anywhere hot & sunny with cocktails to hand! Locally I enjoy visiting National Trust sites with family.

Fun Fact: My nickname is Gems!

I have been in the job role for a few years now and over this time I have gained lots of experience with guest satisfaction and managing expectations. I have completed 2 qualifications alongside my job so I could work to excel in the role (business admin level 2 and 3). I bring IT and technology skills to the team and comedy!

I deal with all guests leading up to their stay to make sure everything goes smoothly. It is my responsibility to ensure guests receive all the relevant information they need for a great stay.

I have been with the company for a few years now, joining in September 2018, I like it when we all work together as a team in a difficult situation to solve a problem, we are incredibly lucky to have such a strong team at RentMyHouse.

My favourite travel destination is either Amsterdam or Florida, Hereford wise, my favourite location would be The Left Bank.

Fun Fact: If I was to represent a national football team I could play for Southern and Northern Ireland, England, Germany and Kenya.

I have been working as a professional bookkeeper for over 13 years. I have experience handling short and long-term property rentals in different countries. I am a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and Xero ProAdvisor as well. I have a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

I believe my expertise is all in the accounting and bookkeeping side such as bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, as well as doing the landlord’s reports.

My main responsibility is making sure our accounts or bookkeeping are up to date and all guest payments are aligned as well as reconciled.

I’ve been with RentMyHouse since March 2019. It’s a lot but I think I love numbers that’s why I feel like I’m not working! Plus everyone here is so helpful.

Aside from continuously studying accounting principles. I love going to the beach, going to the spa, and having massages. I also love spending most of my free time with my family.

Fun fact: I look serious at work but inside I’m cool and relaxed.

My days are generally spent working from home, the team call it sleeping but to me it is work and a very important part of my day! I am not really allowed to visit the properties that we manage which is a real shame as some of those beds look lovely and soft in the pictures, I am pretty sure I could work quite easily from any of them. My security duties involve barking at the postman and anybody who rings our doorbell. Outside of work I enjoy long walks, digging in the garden and barking at the pigeons that visit my garden.

Fun fact: I am 100% Beagle and come from a long line of pedigree winners at Crufts.
